ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Love is a process. A long one for some, a short one for others. An easy one for some, a hard one for others. But all of it is meant to be cherished.
My project is only a glimpse of that beautiful process. Initially my plan was to paint on canvases and display it by projecting them in a dark room. But that idea fell apart when social distancing/quarantine happened and canvases became as rare as toilet paper. 
Thankfully, I already had picture frames, so I decided to paint on the glass protectors. I tried to capture 3 different moments in a relationship: the first meet, the fairytale dates and being finally home together. It wasn’t what I originally had in mind, but my paintings definitely have a deeper meaning now. 
They are the memories of my own beautiful process framed forever.
