ARTIST BIO

Tharsinei is an Arts & Culture student at Dawson. Out of all the art classes she has enrolled in, painting is what struck her the most. It was never a childhood passion or a given talent, but learning about numerous different brushes, mixing colours, layering tones and using a palette knife is what attracted her to this medium of art. 
It’s hard to consider oneself as an artist and the insecurity of not being creative enough or talented enough has followed her ever since she took interest in creating. But when she’s  painting, she feels validated as an artist. Whether her work is good or not, she’s the happiest when painting.
